In this article, I recount our group’s arduous biking journey through Uzbekistan. We experience various challenges such as bike breakdowns, sandstorms, and language barriers. Despite the struggles, we explore the Silk Road, experience diverse Uzbek culture, its cuisine, and remarkable Islamic architecture in towns such as Khiva and Bukhara.
